JANE & DANIEL WEDDING

A LUXURY MODERN MARQUEE AND CEREMONY  AT A PRIVATE HOME IN THE ENGLISH COUNTRYSIDE

We planned this beautiful black tie wedding celebration at the couples private home in Hertfordshire, in the English countryside. For the ceremony we created a gorgeous garden like feel intimate outdoor aisle of florals leading to a huge natural arch as a focal point for a private celebrant led ceremony. Guests enjoyed canapes and drinks in the gardens with floral filled lounge areas, before being led to a surprise marquee location.

We designed the marquee dining space to be in keeping with the gardens and interiors of the couples home, as well as inspired by their personal aesthetic and desire for a subtle colour palette for a modern feminine look that didn't lean to heavily into country garden style. We layered natural tones with personalised menus, using a balance of pale white, subtle blush, smoked glass and lots of nude and beige layered together. We designed a personalised logo and mirrored the napkins with the table numbers, softened by delicate florals and modern tableware throughout. We created a waterfall installation of florals from a top shelf of the marquee wall that cascaded down as a back drop for ding, with extra large super elegant chandeliers lining the full room. The space was scented using notes of champagne, pink peppercorn, bergamot, lychee, cedarwood, and white musk for a velvety-sweet floral scent
- transitioning with woodland, tobacco and spices for the afterparty. Melrose Place by OUAI, Baies by Diptyque, Tonka by Laboratory Perfumes,
Peyote Poem by Byredo, Jasmine Sambac & Marigold by Jo Malone.

After dinner we revealed a secret afterparty area of the marquee inspired by part of the couples story together, evoking a moody and fun private members club like feel. We used moss green velvet soft furnishings as a base, with emerald green with rust velvet and gold accessories including a gold mirrored dance floor and bespoke bar with a print replicated as a backdrop to the band and used across cocktail menu booklets. The band and DJ filled the floor after the first dance, with fireworks in between sets all planned in a specific colour palette with a carefully curated playlist.

The bride wore a gorgeous Viktor & Rolf dress from Browns Bride boutique, with Jimmy Choo shoes.

The groom wore a traditional black tie suit bespoke from Tom Ford.
