VENUE REVIEW: ANTHOLOGY FARM, THE COTSWOLDS

It's not often a new wedding and party venue opens on my doorstep where I am based in the glorious Gloucestershire countryside in the Cotswolds, so I was very excited to hear a dedicated event space was underway at a local holiday home "Anthology Farm" also known as Whalley Farm to the locals, and as featured in Unique Homestays.

Every detail at this property was carefully considered and put together by the design company who imagined the interiors, London based Run For The Hills who specialise in hospitality spaces.

I was given a tour by the owner Josephine, who just happens to be related to my own partner (small world!) and only took over the farm and developments around three years ago.

The dedicated party space is no doubt going to be as stunning as the rest of the interiors, and will be large enough to cater for up to 50 guests from Spring 2022.

It's the perfect spot for a small and intimate wedding, pre-ceremony rehearsal dinner, private dinner party or creative brand retreat.

Each and every bedroom with dedicated bathroom adjoining was unique and delightful, with plenty of options for children and families. There is an indoor swimming pool on site, as well as incredible views of the surrounding countryside.

The property lends itself to self catering for those planning a short trip away and happy to keep things simple, but it would make the perfect space to bring in outside caterers specialising in local and delicious produce - there is an excellent farm and cider shop just 5 mins drive from the farm.
