PARISIAN GLAMOUR FOR A MARQUEE WEDDING AFTERPARTY

One of our signature Studio Sorores elements for a marquee wedding is the secret after party space. We first created something special this way for a client in a hidden location back in 2015 - it was such a surprise to guests who really got a "wow" moment when it was revealed via a floral walkway into the most incredible teepee with giant plants, wooden furnishings, Moroccan accessories, open fires and gold bespoke calligraphy signs.

For this wedding we were inspired by the couple's travels and the emerald green silk dress worn on the night of the marriage proposal. A heady mix of deep green velvet, inky black, rich gold and a magnificent soft feathery pink floral installation above the mirrored circular bar.

We made sections with sofas and armchairs to create intimate lounge areas reminiscent of Parisian nightclubs, with soft candlelight and a starlit ceiling reflecting on the gold mirrored dance floor. We used a sensual and spicy scent in the space alongside soft furnishings in luxurious textures. Espresso martinis and bespoke cocktails flowed all night as the DJ played with live sax alongside them into the early hours (with fireworks in between!).
